How do you get airplane mode to work?

In order to be flagged as cheating, they'd have to be very certain you're cheating. With all the game crashes and bad wifi/cell signals out there, that's simply not possible to do for this exploit*. I'd much rather be able to access the upper left menu at any time during the battle and retreat than turn on flight mode, but that's the way they've designed it.

*I also don't consider this an exploit, since you can forfeit a TW or arena battle, or retreat from a raid anyway. This is just an additional safeguard in my mind.
