How do you grind gear?
I personally use refreshes but recently I’ve seen where people save crystals and instead buy gear straight from the stores. Which do you do?

Really depends on your desire to win. If you don't care about winning, you use energy and occasionally crystals when CG screws something up and gives you some as compensation. Otherwise, pull out your wallet and enjoy the addiction.
