How long to craft g12+ pieces
So does anyone else think that the amount of salvage to craft g12+ pieces is ludicrous? Non-heroic sith guilds must be furious, I’m in a hSTR guild and I think it’s crazy. The meta will change 2 tim...

And that could be why I don't care - I gave up on Arena over a year ago. I don't have the time before payout to compete, and I'm in a Nov'15 server. I'm happy with being in the top 50. Once I decided to settle for that as F2P, the game became much less stressful. Now all these ups & downs with meta shifts and updates are much less drama for me, and I'm happier for it.
That is fair. I'm in a Oct '17 shard and have continually been in the top 50, most of the time top 10, but I am not in a HSith guild and am falling farther and farther behind. I find it almost impossible to finish top 10 now, and I don't see this improving.
Many people will say - "join a guild that is doing the raid", I understand that, but I like my guild, I like the people in it and I like how we are progressing as a group. About a month ago we started farming the HAAT, it was great to be a part of that.
I get it, I should either except the fact that I will will never catch up in Arena or I need to bail on my guild. I guess that's how it is and I need to get over it, but it's a pretty **** thing to have to except. (Also of note; it's not something that has ever been a part the game before as far as I can tell. )
It was a bit of a thing when herioc tank was still new, and people were getting GK and there weren't a lot of counters to him. We'll see the same thing starting with Traya. G12+ is a little different, as it's an incremental improvement to existing characters.
Anyways, I'm happier about G12+ being top 10 in Heroic sith than I am about it being given to everyone doing herioc sith. But I'm not happy about not being able to get it, and like you I have no intention of abandoning my guild that I've developed a great rapport with.
