How to level the playing field between LS and DS

I don't think the difference is as great as people are talking about, mostly at top end of arena do we see the biggest differences, but just some thoughts on what we could do to make it more even. ...

Why is there a need to level the playing field? You don't pick an exclusive side, unlike other faction based games. There's no need to balance Sith vs. Jawas vs. Rebels because you can have them all. Other than some sith fanboy weirdos, no one is, or should be, exclusively one side or the other.
