Icon removed

I’m glad this topic has been raised. No TB button has effected our guilds participation purely through lack of awareness. Frustrating, especially when it’s all to sell packs. Please fix this for guild events to take priority, always.

I am amazed at how many guilds don't use Discord and don't use in game text. How do you guilds function daily?

This is just a mobile game. Most of the users are f2p and pretty casual. While guilds tend to have Discord (or similar), it's very common for people to join only 'cause it's required and then proceed to ignore it most of the time.

Anyway, if people have to resort to third party apps because the in game text service is not good, I'll put the blame on CG.

Guild leader or officers can put it in the banner so it shows when you log in. There are ways besides an icon. CG wants their $ but you can still do LSTB.

Point is that many players are already used to seeing an icon that has typically been provided and so when it doesn’t appear they don’t look for it. Changing expectations, especially for casual users is difficult. Same has occurred in the past when they shifted free stuff in shipments for example, people expect it to be where it is consistently when they play a game like this daily and repetitively.

Discord should not be a panacea for broken game functionality. The game should not be broken to sell content.

This exactly. Providing a consistent user experience is GUI programming 101. When you set your users up to expect a thing, they structure their routine around their expectations of how the GUI is going to act and what information is going to be provided in specific locations in the software. Changing those kinds of things leads to frustration. If there was some kind of way to dismiss those notifications, that would be one thing but you can't do that without buying them. Those icons hide otherwise useful information that people are accustomed to interacting with.

Is it a huge deal breaker? No. Generally speaking though, if you want people to have a positive experience when they interact with the user interface, you need to provide a consistent experience.

guys lets not transform this post in "insulting eachother " post - the main goal is that devs to fix this icon problem so TW/TB icon won't get removed from main screen , and 1 solution is like Rag_Scrag said to move 1 icon in that free space
