Im a fan of the current meta...
...because there really isn't one.
Sure, some characters are "OP" or whatever, but the tops of the leaderboards are really varied. We have empire teams, rebel teams, jedi teams, and everything in between. Boba Fett has surpassed wedge as the most common character among #1 players, theres a variety of top leaders (Zader, Zaul, Boba Fett, EP, etc), and most everyone has their own strategy. Basically, battles aren't determined by a point difference in speed anymore or anything like that.
I get this might not be the case for everyone (it isn't for me, I'm just looking at meta reports), but Im glad the game is shifting. I believe we've reached a significant point in the power creep instead of there being two or three characters at a time that are "OP" (dodge meta, then rey, then wiggs) we now have maybe 20 or so arena viable characters.
I realize I might not have done a great job explaining my thoughts, but Im curious to hear what y'all think.
