I'm top 3 of all the General Tarkin's in top 1-40

General Kenobi is quite hard to get to be fair.

But rebel / light side ships are always 24/7 in the ship shop , in the galactic wars.

I had to wait and wait horrible days for me to get the last shard for scimitar as It wouldn't drop.

But there was ALWAYS an Jedi Consular or Bigg's Darklighter's ship on the rotation.

Even if I do dislike General Tarkin...I'm an sith/empire/dark side main,I don't have any great light side characters nor will intensely farm for them.
I'm going to stay with Tarkin for the long run,but atm he is pathetic.

Only way to win for sure is if you manage to ability block all enemies with the abilty block at the start,if you don't,you're doomed.

And that happening is like,a rare thing.

Maybe you have easy ships or just a bad setup overall. Tarkin is a pretty decent fleet commander and better than Ackbar imo (on offense).
What's your fleet power?

Fleet is 90K power

And it's not about the ships themselves. But the relation between tarkin fleet commander and the ships,it's pretty bad.

With rebel commanders you buff ships that gain another buffs because they got buffed or mass buffed


Empire doesn't even have that.

Look at the top in fleet arena,tell me how many Tarkins do you see.

Yes,he is decent,but pathetic in fleet arena.

Oddly enough scimitar actually helps me a lot .
I use the abilty on First Order Tie fighter,he end up killing everyone attacking him because of 2x attack

Since i've had these 2 ships I went up to rank 14,before having them I was stuck at 60-70


Also ,I'm F2P aka Not A Whale.

Doesn't do much,the AI just focuses her first,she's always the first one to die,that's why I swapped her.

I love using Scimitar in my Tarkin fleet. Have him place the retribution on ITF and he'll dodge most of the attacks giving Tarkin tons of TM.

This is just an extreme example of the whole game. How many leaders are used in arena vs how many people have leader abilities.

It's just more extreme here because there are 3. There are also very few ships.

The AI focuses on anything with a buff.

I use Tarking exclusively, no care at all about Akbar or Mace. I run with Vader, ITF, FOTF, Biggs, Asohka and have GS, SF and JC as reinforcement. First thing I do is use ITF's special to basically eliminate all protection from someone and gains foresight. If Asohka is on the other team, she will use her strafe de-buff on ITF because he has the only buff, but because it's foresight, it's a wasted attack from her. Then I usually focus everything I have to take her, JC or Plo Koon first while Vader hits everyone with target lock. Biggs takes the brunt of everything. If he goes down, SF comes in to take his place.

My ship leaderboard is a nasty one though - my fleet power is at 115K, and I cannot break rank 250 no matter how hard I try.
