I found that his shards are hard to farm.

Any advice on what shards should I farm from Squad battles and GW soon?

Farm st Han. He will be easy and immediately show results.

what's the synergy between st han and ewoks?

You can farm St Han relatively quickly and like RJ_Brando mentioned, you'll see immediate results. I'm not sure there are any specific synergies between ST Han and the Ewok squad. In the meantime, you may want to begin farming RG. I think he fits well with an ewok team because they are fairly slow and RG's taunt that occurs outside of his turn can draw fire away from those little teddies before one goes down. And once RG gets burned down, you may see him pop up again

Definitely work on RG. Ewok team won't take you to the top, but it's "viable".

I disagree, I know two others besides myself who places 1st regularly.

I am currently farming ewoks, which is slow for elder and scout, for ftp, and I can't divert too many resources to level them up...but at the moment they are fun to play the first couple of nodes in GW, and RG does fit well with them! I can't wait til the day they are all maxed!

Ewoks have amazing tm manipulation. Han just adds to it, so it's not uncommon for the little furballs to attack 2-3 times per enemy attack. But, han can only taunt once every 5 turns. RG is great for saving your weaker ewoks, like chirpa or elder. Plus, they both help keep RG's health full for continuous auto taunts, and elder revives him easily. My advice, get stormtrooper han maxed, and use him until you are able to get RG playable, probably gear 8, 5 star.
