I was just looking around my characters to see what I need to upgrade to the impending G12, and realized how many characters require these things at G10 and G11. Sure enough, 113 characters need these things to upgrade:https://swgoh.gg/db/gear/129/mk-8-biotech-implant/I certainly don't even have a whale collection, so are these things a bottleneck for those who have a ton of characters at G10/11 or are they easy enough to obtain?

Horrible to farm. Drop rates in raids is almost non existent. My Vader needs two to go to G11 and I have not gotten any closer the past three weeks! That's three weeks of raids without this dropping. I think it'll be faster and easier to buy the 25 pack from shipments..

Nope, Stun Cuffs are easy to farm. Those you need to buy from the shipments.

they're cheap, so there's that. Hopefully, once gear 12 hits i've hoarded enough of those salvages we get from the challenges to keep up with me buying those other salvages needed for the full craft. I can accumulate the crystals to buy those faster than i can "farm" the other ones from the challenges.

I can’t say for certain, but I don’t believe I’ve ever gotten salvage pieces for the one that costs 750 for the full/half piece from the raid... and we’ve been doing heroic long enough for me to 7* GK a couple months ago.

They just don’t ever drop.

You're probably exaggerating in saying you haven't EVER. But I agree that they are rare. The overwhelming majority of those I've crafted were purchased with saved up crystals. I get the worthless component of the golden eyeball (the one that drops in the challenge by the hundreds) in a lot of raids. I do wish that was removed from raids.

I've never had it from raids either get the challenge one all the time. I farm from ship shipments and the store.

Haven't EVER is not the correct word i think.. i EVER.. but it's like once in about 30-40 raids. And it's not full craft.. around 12-20 pieces i think.

But seriously.. i NEVER get the full craft. :frowning:
