Is sith assassin viable under maul lead

Given that Maul leader ability is broke like Teebos (overwriting multiple turn stealth with single turn) will she still be useful in arena?

  • Maybe, she'll still be able to jumpstart sith even more than the Zaul lead already does. (+36% TM after she uses dark shroud.

If you have her fast enough she might be able to get through a full turn without being hit, but probably not until after the first wave of attacks. Her second special won't be as useful, but her basic can give her stealth as well. With the low star rating that you'll most likely have her at anyways, she's probably going to be most effective at jumpstarting the sith to 100% TM. You'd probably want to run her with Shoretrooper/Baze/Sith Trooper under the Zaul lead to protect her. Or maybe GK if you have him. She has more than 1 way to get stealth.
  • agreed on the star part, but more important is the fact that her second special ability is dependent on her being stealthed for extra damage and if the enemy uses a single AoE between her first and second attack, Maul lead turns her 2 turn stealth to a 1 turn stealth and she loses stealth before her second attack. So her second attack loses the extra damage potential since she won't be stealthed anymore when she should be

I don't think her special ability for damage is going to be her most useful function at 3 stars. It does stun though, and her TM boost for sith is probably more important.

Agreed, thinking it would have to Zaul, Assassin, Trooper, and then any set of Zid, Zooku, Vader or EP (I don't have Savage so no love there for me). But the double tm bonus would take the speed problem away.

Dream scenario would be a fast Zid and Zooku faster than Assassin. They get tm bump from Zaul, they attack setting Trooper up for Taunt and Retribution and then Assassin gives them a head start on round two and gets Maul and Trooper closer finishing off round one.

Just worried about the damage output of that team. If she can't hold her own and is more just a Sith version of JAWA engineer, then I would probably have to bring EP and/or Vader into that team to get enough damage to take them out.
  • And I would like to see how Nihilus would play in that team setup .. but I like Zid and Zooku as they are already fast and with good speed mods under Maul almost guaranteed to attack first and second in most every battle.

Two specials and all the sudden SithTrooper is acting like Baze and you are off to a good start with potentially an entire exposed team and one of them stunned from Zooks.

I think Zooku probably isn't the best choice, sure he's fast, but 1) That's another Zeta you need, and 2) His damage output is lacking and putting in EP for stuns and shock is probably a bit more reliable for damage, control and multiple specials means more likely for Sith Trooper to keep his taunt.

I am using her right now with Zaul, SA, EP, Savage (not zeta'd, but zeta'd tomorrow), and B2... and Yes she is DEFINITELY Viable LMAO! Watching EP Stun and Maul daze before anyone can go is HILARIOUS!! It is soooo easy
  • As long as there is no foresight and aoe to trigger the foresight, then she would unstealth the following turn.

I don't have her under a Maul lead but I used her earlier today in GW and cleared all nodes with that 1 team under EP lead.
