I play SWGOH on my iPhone allot, but really wish I could play it on my MacBook Pro w/ M1 . RPG gaming is more fun on a computer. Plus the larger screen of my MacBook would make a better gaming experience and things WAY easier to see / read for these sore eyes.

Yeah, I feel you. I don't think I could go back to the phone after playing it on the iPad. 😃 The big screen was a game-changer for me.

BlueStacks Download this, download game using this APP and play from any PC or Tablet. Ive notice it takes a while to load some screens but make it nice :D ENjoy
I know that Bluestacks is how Ahnald streams and records his videos. I use it and I’m a fan.
I like this too to work on M1 and/or M2 chip too. Bluestacks is not an option M1/M2 since its running on Apple Silicon chips.
Since SWGOH is running on M1 and M2 IPAD devices it should not be that hard for developer. A lot of games are able to be installed on MacOS directly from the Appstore by selecting iphone/ipad apps. In this case SWGOH isnt.
I read about a trick to get the app file over from and IPAD to MacOS. It starts installing but when the app is started it say this app is not designed for this type of device.
I think this is just a flag from development to switch it on and it works.
Can you take a look at this Dev-ers?
There is the PC client now, but I'd really prefer a native macOS app! I'm running the PC client in a Windows 11 on Arm VM using VMware Fusion on my M1 Macbook Air. It makes loading the game quite a chore... load VMware, boot the VM, start the EA app in the VM, load the game.
Please send feedback that we want a native macOS app for SWGOH!

I got two updates for getting swgoh on your apple silicon Mac.

2 - There's a new Wine App called Kegworks. It’s a little tricky but you can get the EA PC client installed. It requires running code in Terminal so it’s a bit more technical. I got it working. It’s very nice and a better experience than Bluestacks or a VM.
