100% Reva is probably the first Youngling we see at the beginning. Only explanation for her knowing that Anakin is Vader is her seeing Anakin slaughtering everyone. She survives / escapes and is filled with resentment towards Obi Wan for allowing his Padawan to fall and destroy everything.
How would she know Anakin is Vader? He announce himself when he entered the Temple? Very few people knew Anakin was Vader so for her to know is not sitting to well with me.
He did kinda march in at the head of an army and start cutting down any Jedi in his path. Not exactly subtle, especially if Reva is in fact a surviving Youngling.
Why she’s still alive while knowing (and repeatedly defying the GI and making the 5th Brother of all people the voice of reason) is another question, but one I feel like will be answered.- So I'm not trying to be a smart allec, and I respect your opinion, but it sounds like you're saying by default the most intelligent character should be a white male, and that people of other races/ sexual orientation/gender should only be In movies or tv when its relatable to the story.
My opinion is that as a society we are trying to include some diversity in TV & movies because we are all human beings, capable of anything regardless of what we look like and who we love. So the smartest people on a show could be anybody: black, white, asian, gay, straight, etc.
I think this a good thing especially for younger people who love sci fi. It shows that your character determines what you can do in life and not how you look or who you love. And they have such little representation now in tv/ movies, I think studios want movies/ tv to start representing what our country looks like, so that includes everyone. It's getting better now, but when I was a kid all super heroes and sci fi heroes were white men. Imagine being something other than that, and what kind of message that sends.
Again I'm not judging you or calling you racist just offering a different perspective.
But I don't like when people have to pretend a movie or show is awesome just because of this. For example people said Wonder Woman was the best super hero movie ever when it came out.
Too me that is condescending and an overcorrection. Movies & tv should be judged on the body of work itself. We should be allowed to say, hey wonder woman wasn't that great if we feel that way, and not automatically be judged as sexist.
Personally I loved Black Panther, but if some one didnt like the movie they should be able express their opinion without being deemed a racist.
Anyways just my 2 cents. - Firstly, I doubt the GI is really that easy to kill. Secondly, he's not done much yet other than give that unfortunate bandit a close shave.
Reva...not a fan. She can't follow orders and she's painfully over-acting. "LordDirt;c-2363191" wrote:

1. She sees him slaughtering Jedi.
2. Palp calls him LV on the security recordings Yoda and OWK are watching. She could be captured, off the Holo...
Her seeing Anakin at the temple is the only logical conclusion, unless "Vader used to be Anakin" is common knowledge around Force LinkedIn.- I thought Ewan McGregor was better in the Kenobi role this time around. He was a bit stiff and wooden at times in the prequels. I think he probably struggled with some clunky dialogue.
Anyway really enjoyed it. 8/10.

1. I don't know anything about Reva's backstory. Maybe Vader told him, maybe not, we don't know but I don't think its a big deal if she knows
I dont like how she knows Anakin is Lord Vader. Could have been a better scene when Ben finds out Anakin is still alive, I like how they did it in the comics. Find it strange that it has been ten years of Lord Vader hunting down Jedi and Ben never heard.
Maybe she knew Anakin back when she was a Jedi so when she met Vader she could tell
2. I don't think its strange since Kenobi was living in a small bubble isolated from news and things, he went to work, he looked after Luke and ended his day like so for 10 years - I liked Reva as the impatient inquisitor. She’s angry and they want you to know that. She’s been taken from her family once to become a jedi, watched her new family pretty much get slaughtered and had to escape with her classmates, probably she is the only one to survive. Probably has to go through some pretty brutal training which they probably had no regard for her safety and whether she lived or died. Probably saw most of the other kidnapped children killed and discarded like lab rats. Yeah, she’s angry and impatient and I thought she did a good job. Looking forward to seeing how she knows Vader was Anakin. I imagine there was an encounter so I’m hoping it has a flashback.

One thing I’m wondering is Reva said she found a connection between Leia’s father and Kenobi… do you think she means Bail or Anakin?
Bail Organa, she even pointed out they worked together closely during the clone wars - winterwolvesRising Scout

That line could have so easily been rewritten to be like "How can you only be 10 years old?" or "Are you sure you're only 10 years old?"
Just like he didn't talk directly about Padme, he doesn't want to let on to Leia how much he knows about her. It also gave another interaction between them instead of an adult just talking at a child.
I thought it was a great start, with Kenobi starting out thoroughly beaten down and set in his hiding ways. Then a series of fairly small events build up, we can see he thinks about taking action each time, but tries to just keep to himself. In the context of TV show length episodes, I think they did a great job of showing his reluctance to do anything then building up to leaving his hiding place.
