Normally in 5 tries, I would go 1st at least once. Today was the first time I went first 0/5 tries. Out of curiosity, I refreshed and tried 3 more attempts and still didnt go first. That’s 0-8 in going first today when my opponent and I have the same R9 Leviathan — same lineups.. and not that it matters but my fleet in general has higher GP across the board. Makes no sense. Seems like the matchup is coded so that the opponent goes first at a much higher rate, probably to get players frustrated and spend crystals on refreshes.

Sorry guys but this isn’t true. The fact is that the people who are posting about bad leviathan RNG are the ones who just got super unlucky in fleet arena today. Use the tie reaper as first reinforcement, it gives you a second coin flip for ult so your chance of losing is halved. Yes, the meta should change so it isn’t reliant on winning speed ties. But the rng is not broken. People have been saying this about simming nodes for years, and have been proven wrong every time.

If RNG wasn't broken, I would have been the first in at least 3 out of 6 battles. But when you're the second in 9 out of 10 battles all the time, no TIE Reaper will help. And I can't be happy for someone who's the first all the time - it won't give me any crystals. But the developers don't read this forum. Otherwise, Leviathan would have been fixed a long time ago.
We don't fix what's broken, we finish it off. - That's the developers' attitude towards their own game.

What can he do? The developers don't want to correct the balance in mirror battles because it is beneficial for them that the fleet shards fall apart, and people lose in fleet battles on GAC and TW.

No, you are not guaranteed to ever go first. This is why people love coming to post about this. The mentality that on any given day you are owed by CG to go first in at least half of your fleet battles. In fact, it is the opposite. If you play fleet every day you are almost guaranteed to run into days where you never go first. And also days where you go first every time. This is proof that the RNG is not rigged.
And are you seriously arguing that my experience using the exact same ship as you is invalid? Lmao CG has not altered the RNG specifically for you to lose. They don’t care about you.

I'm fairly certain the coin flip is actually 50/50 - if you doubt it, I encourage you to actually track your own rate by writing it down after every battle and then report back in a few weeks once you have some more data.
I spoke up in a previous thread as I had that same feeling, that I was losing the coinflip more often than not. I've been keeping track for the past 8 days. Sample size is still small, but with 21 tracked battles I've won the initial coin flip 11 times and have lost it 10.
I will continue to track this for a while longer and encourage everyone else to try and do the same. But please remember, that if you go from memory rather than writing things down, there's often a strong confirmation bias involved.However for good measure, ensure your DR have full on 6-dot mods as a first step, just mentioning this for good measure :)

Fact is that the player experience is more and more bad. But yes we all have to spend more crystals for refreshes and have to spend time in the game. Perhaps that's the aim but combined with a bad experience at some people players will stop playing.

Today I was second in 5/5 battles again. When will I start going first in 5/5 battles? As I wrote above, the developers won't fix Leviathan. It doesn't bring them any profit. It's better to let the broken RNG continue to work in the game.
