Yeah, I don't know, I never pay attention to all these details like some people do, when I watched it I didn't even think how did it work. I'm a terrible critic, I just watch the show and enjoy it. I only said my thing earlier because others were talking about it.

I wonder if Mando will have trouble with The Children of the Watch and possession of his armor will become an issue in season 3. He did seem out of his element, but I think it was more from not wearing a helmet, than his armor.

for me this was all just foreshadowing, that he will go with "the jedi" that respond to Grogu and get some training.

they also gave a similar feel when he was with the other mandarins, he looked out of his element and sloppy when they were taking the ship. but again, he was out of his element.

I would put this more as he needs some character development, and we will see things change as they go on.

To comment further on the Duchess.

Unfortunately, most SW fans, including die hard fans, have not watched Rebels. And that was one episode out of many, so even those that have watched it may not remember or haven’t watched that particular episode.

That’s a long way of explaining that they would have to do a ton of work to explain what it was and how it suddenly appeared in this show. It would be difficult to pull off well.

Makes sense, since they usually kill of a character that I start to like. Happens all the time. lol.
But I do hope that he joins the team to rescue The Child.
