Mandalorian Tag

Boba & Jango were not mandalorian by tradition... however... the concept of being "mandalorian" is an idea... the true race of mandalorians were all but wiped out a long long time ago... Anyway you can't kill an idea and in that "concept" boba & jango were more than mandalorian because they pursued the path when no-one else did. Thus they are just as deserving of a mandalorian tag as "Mandalore the Ultimate" "Mandalore the Indomitable" "Madalore the First" and others like crusaders, neo-crusaders, pre-vizla and canderous ordo.

Those Mandalorians were the leaders, and yes, that had a ceremonial title of Mandalore. That's not the same as "i fight, so I'm a Mandalorian". They had to prove their worth, and they didn't, and as such, the government therein viewed them as "pretenders" because they wore Mandalorian armor without express rights to do so by being a member of this group.

Boba and Jango were not part of the new Mandalorian empire, which isn't so much an ideal as it was a body of government and a culture. So... I mean, realistically you're just flat wrong and trying to cling to your idea. That's fine, but it doesn't change that you're just incorrect. Boba won't be getting any Mandalorian tag anytime ever.

The orginal mandalorians were located on a planet we now know as corrusant... that is until the galactic republic kicked em out and took it for themselves... thus spawning the birth of "mandalorians" by the gross injustices and atrocities inflicted upon them by a stuck up group of people who thought there opinions were superior, or just, or for the "greater good"...

All of this was wrapped in an aristocracy of title & privilege.

So it's no wonder that despite the republic wiping out the original mandalorian race there ideal of justice through might, honor & vengeance is the kind of ideal that just spread through the galaxy and nearly wiped out jedi & sith alike.

So understand that by requiring some privileged title or other bullship requirement for the mandalorian tag is the exact same reason the idea of Mandalorians were founded and your eating your words as if your the republic aristocracy banishing boba & jango into exile for the "greater good" of mandalorians... and your new mandalorian order is no longer mandalorian but a bunch of corrupt republic politicians and less mandalorian than boba & jango.

Btw the "new mandalorian order" run by satine & opposed by pre vizla in TVW is not a basis of who is & is not mandalorian.

Over the course of 10,000 years tbe mandalorian idea has fought the republic and sided with and against pretty much everything over the coarse of time... the bottom line is there survivors and jango embodied that with a clone army and boba embodies it by defying the empire to there face... and (remember im not a fan of boba) that takes some gigantic brass bawls so that alone should grant him the tag of mandalorian by being defiant to authority.

Yes you are correct... clones could be considered mandalorians EXCEPT for that big part about them being under the REPUBLICS command... and that is anathema to all that mandalorians represent...

So the training, conditioning, and discipline the clones underwent in every way makes them close to mandalorians, but its the fact they worked for republic... that just negates it all and makes them abominations in the eyes of a true mandalorian... but that does not mean that a mandalorian would not respect what they were.

In fact... it would not suprise me if at some point in the far future another mandalorian will try raising another clone army... maybe without the rapid aging or the order 66 chips. Because no doubt about it....the clones were deadly effective.

Boba Fett isn't a Clone Trooper, not in-game or even in the movie
