Minimum for thrawn tier VII without chopper?

So far I have this for my lineup.
Sabine G9
Ezra G8
Zeb G8
Hera G8
Kanan G8

All with abilities omega'd and with mods maxed. Any tips or tricks for this would be appreciated.
  • So I did it yesterday with Sabine. Had basically the same Team as you with the difference that Ezra was g10 but I was far from having everything omega'd (just uniques + ezra basic + assisst). I obv had only 5* Mods. But my mods are awful. I have nearly no speed secondaries so i put a speed arrow on every phoenix and tried to get as much potency as possible on Zeb.

First off don't believe the guys saying its INSANELY easier with Chopper. That is not true. Yes it is easier with Chopper but the difference is pretty small. The reason is that most tries you just get annihilated. The 15% Protection you get from being attacked changes nothing when a DT hits you for 15-20k. And the Health Regen works only when you get a turn. And when everything goes down the drain you won't get any turns.

While this event is by far the most difficult (have never seen the CLS Event, dunno if it is harder) Event and you obviously need to play good its like many already stated pure luck to beat it. I had to do it about 150 times to finally align everything. Most tries i barely managed to kill 1 Enemy or died while 5 of them were living.

So for the tactic you have to exactly look what the enemies are doing. I'll try to give you some bullet points how to react.

    1) 1 DT uses grenade the other a basic -> Focus the one that used the grenade
    2) It's Ezras turn and the Storm Trooper didn't have a turn yet -> DON'T dispel the taunt, it will be reapplied otherwise
    3) If someone other than Kanaan or Sabine get fractured (first time) -> restart
    4) If Kanaan or Sabine gets fractured (first time) they MUST NOT die!

For the whole thing to work out it has to go somewhat this way:

You get into phase 4 -> one DTs throws grenade -> you counter -> ST is debuffed -> Thrawn uses Command on ST -> ST taunts -> Zeb Retribution on anyone with low protection (just zeb is important for retribution) -> Ezra flourish -> Zeb stun (via assist or Sabine) on the DT that threw the grenade -> other DT throws grenade -> gets (nearly) obliterated by counters -> taunt with kanaan -> Fracture -> Backup Plan -> finish of the DT that still has the buff b4 he basics -> throw Sabines grenade on the living DT or use Zeb if you used the grenades in the beginning (ignore Thrawn while fracture is live!) -> kill the DT.

If you manage this you still can lose but it looks already good. What you want to do now is ofc kill the living adds. With Kanaan you spam the specials, if all specials are on cd, basic thrawn (offense down). Hera and Ezra use always zeb to attack thrawn, you want to stunlock or at least permadaze him while finishing the adds. Which add you focus doesn't really matter tbh. The heal doesn't give protection and the health pools itself are pretty small. By the time of the second fracture the fractured toon will most likely die. I think in my killtry he fractured zeb and i was close to restart. Don't do it you have a chance.

I hope i could help you. I think you should definitly be able to.

Last words: As long as Adds live, don't attack thrawn for another reason as to debuff him (Zeb/Kanaan (he hits like a wet noodle anyways)).
