Chaze really needs to be nerfed. These characters are way too strong early and need a nerf. Im not talking about lvl 85 chaze either, there is a lot of ways to counter them by that time. What im talking about is lvl 60s there needs to be more counter play to this combo. For example, these characters get nothing special for omega on their abilities, how about changing one of their overpowered abilities and adding it as an omega upgrade? This way low levels don't reap the benefits of EVERYTHING chaze has to offer as soon as they unlock as well as not changing the overall state of these characters when maxed.

@Anton23 It takes a few weeks to get to level 60, Palpatine occurs what, every other month? Also you need to farm 5* rebels for him which would mean your main arena team would take a huge hit if it wasn't rebels, and death trooper unlocks at level 80? Maul's daze wouldn't help a bit with the problem thats occuring lol.If you're wondering I made an alt, have had a main account for awhile now and know exactly how this game works, Im not trying to make a hate chaze thread I just want to balance them so new players have a chance man.

I do not think they must be balanced for new players. Your goal is to reach level 85 as quickly as possible and then you will have all game resources available. And to unlock Baze you also have to be more than level 80. And hard battle to get his shards is very hard even for 85 level players. So maybe P2P players could get Baze without reaching level 80. That's their choice. We are F2P and should make our best to reach the top of the arena.

Can't you get Baze by spending crystal? Don't know if a f2p lvl 60 can get enough crystal but it is possible for early whale no?

And I agree that any big ability should be behind an omega or zeta wall. No character should be able to dominate a battle if there is no serious commitement from the player.

Tbh, the problem with Chaze isn't on offense, it's on defense where the AI just can't deal effectively. Gives Chaze teams a massive advantage on defense, even compared to GK. Basically if you don't have Chaze or GK, you probably suck on defense.

If you are 60 and someone bought Chaze you will have to suffer through it for a while but there are a lot of counters. As your shard progresses, their dominance will diminish greatly. Only 2 teams hit top 5 on my shard and they drop to the 30s overnight.

I never had much issues with Baze unless i'm heavily relying upon buffs since he's a real pain when it comes to dispell. In fact he's quite a terrible tank as long as his team can't kill a thing.

Chirrut is really the key here, infinite regen and most importantly he hits like a truck. Even if these two are the only remaining opponents, they still can be a real threat and kill your toons one by one. If you're playing with heavy hitters perhaps you should lower Chirrut protection first and then oneshot him with enough strength (Wiggs works fine for such job). Chirrut defense is quite laughable and quite often he won't stand a chance against heavy fire.

If not, stuns/shock/confuse/buff-heal immunity are your friends, Siths upon Nihilus lead, Nihilus alone or even thrawn work fine too.
