New 2x drop event idea just for mods(monetization)

The problem: I have 448 mods with secondary speed that I still have to slice from green too yellow. I don't have slicing material because a lot of material goes to waste because of non speed slices....

I do 3 mod refreshes per day and average 55-60 mats per day.
I am focusing on speed and speed secondary.
I can upgrade 1 mod from green too yellow every second day.
Mat acceleration is long time overdue.
2x drop mod battle event would be nice.
