New event!!
Many people got their wish and they changed the way they presented a new toon. I hope many of you put your money on the table because if nobody spends then guess what will happen.........

- Nobody spends? You think tournaments brought in the heavy spending? There were plenty of veteran F2P who had the rosters and ally points to win tourneys. Plus so few people would win the characters, that even if you were trying to spend to win, you had to outspend the whales. Tournaments created this pay gate that people figured out was too high for their budget and just gave up.
These events will have most people unlock the character, but only at a certain star level, and after the event they're releasing a pack that will contain 5-30 of their shards at a time. People will have gotten a taste of what Krennic and Deathtrooper bring to their squads, and if they enjoyed it, will buy those packs.
These events will remove the pay gate tournaments created, so that people can choose to spend whatever amount they feel is appropriate, rather than all or nothing with the tournaments. Releasing characters in this fashion will bring in more money than than those last few tournaments did. And if this becomes the new norm, it'll bring in more than the first few tournaments did in the long run.
