Who are these new events even designed for? Light Liberation tier 1 and 2 should be easy for shards so you CAN upgrade your characters lol. I have a r1 Luke g12 on the other characters and can't pass stage 1. I haven't put a penney into this game since last year because of the blatant cash grab tactics. I have a 13.5m account and I have no problem supporting games that I play and I play this every day this is the worst by far with monetization.

Well, if you...we don't have spider-guy and the requirements at 7 stars yet, they're pretty important shards. Also, a few million credits.....I'm a very credit poor person.
I can't argue about CG's philosophy though. Feels like there's been some significant changes over the last year to how they have to operate.

No omega or zetas applied, R1 for all 3 toons and you should be able to 3 star tier 1 and 2. Tier 3 gets more dicey and I just completed it no omega or zeta, Luke R3, Chewie R2, Bariss R1 using my SLKR, KRU and GL Leia god mods.
I did both fairly easily with an R4 Luke and G12 others. If you put a couple of Relics into the golden boy, you should be OK.
