Great. More P2W for a game with a rapidly declining user base.
My account is a little more than a year and a half old. In that time, I have faced maybe a dozen accounts with much less GP than me. Most opponents have a multiple of mine.
As far as limiting myself for my own enjoyment, if that's the only challenge SWGOH offers any longer, I'd rather just uninstall a poorly thought out product.
In response to your comment though, no, agreed upon GP limits in a new game mode would work perfectly well, except to an obtuse mind incapable of dynamic or imaginative thinking, like yourself.
You start with a faction draft with all characters from that faction available. Have it as a kind of 1-2-2-1 type thing where each player has to select their fleet from one of those 3 factions.
Next, you specify the total number of zetas/omicrons.
As far as Mods, now that I think about it, an auto-generated pool of mods for your teams with a specified GP would probably work best.
They have weight classes for boxing. They have CC limits for racing.

Well, we'll see. However, I suspect you are correct.

Ahhh OK, so it was a GAC-GP rant....I thought so. A lot of players are punching way above their weight with GP. I can kind of see how some would see that as boring though. As you're tactics would need to be very linear.

Well, either you're doing very well or there's a fair bit of hyperbole in this comment. However, I have suggested a fix to large, inactive accounts in GAC elsewhere.

I don't really understand these clauses.

Well, you're almost certainly not going to get what you've suggested in your original post. One could argue your idea is poorly thought out (for this game). I'd say wait for this new PvP game mode-thing and see what you think of that.

Again, we'll have to agree to disagree. I gave examples of why it won't work. As a player with a lot more experience and also experience playing under the GP environment, I'm confident I'm correct. You put my roster vs a 2 million GP player, even with identical mods, it wouldn't be competitive. I have too much choice.

Was there any reason for personal insults? I have many weaknesses, 'imaginative thinking' is 100% not one of them!

GP is not a boxing weight nor is it a motorcycle engine capacity. I feel these are both poor examples.

Why stop there? If you auto-generated everything. I.e. both players had identical pools of characters, mods, zetas, omicrons, then it would work. I mean you're basically playing like it was a wargame, using predetermined army lists. However, what incentive would CG have for creating such an environment? It would cost money to create, doesn't bring in any extra revenue and doesn't cater to spenders at all; we're all equal.
If the 2 rosters were identical and it came down to player skill (and RNG) then it would definitely work as a concept and possibly would be interesting. It just doesn't bring in the money though, and for whatever reason CG has become extremely focused on that.
