I've recently been trying to decide how to use my first zeta, which got me thinking about the Nightsisters as an alternative to one of the most popular (at least early on) solo teams out there in Zader teams.So what I'd like to know is, if anyone has tried to run a Nightsister team in the same fashion as a Zader Empire team. Here's what I've figured:zAsajj (zeta on lead) - Similar to Vader's with the TM removal and damage, but instead of granting DoTs, gives TM to anyone who falls below 50% health and gives 30% speed. Speed Down - Zader teams get this from Thrawn's fracture or RG's basic. NS team would get it from Spirit (Omega on basic).Tenacity Down - Zader teams are using TFP, while NS Zombie does the same with her basic, and it isn't contingent on landing a critical hit.TM Removal - Both teams are getting TM removal from all damage as a result of the zeta on the leadership. Empire teams are getting extra from Tarkin's AoE (every 4 turns), and NS Spirit is taking TM with her basic. TM Gain - Tarkin is gaining TM with his AoE. NS Initiate gains when her special lands a crit, Talia is giving 30% to everyone with her special (and 15% to herself), and NS Spirit gains TM with her basic.So unless I'm missing something, a NS team of zAsajj (L), Talia, Spirit, Zombie, and Acolyte should be able to solo the rancor maybe even more effectively than a Zader Empire team. Has anyone ever tried this, or am I missing something that these Zader teams are doing?

The zeta on Asajj is also very useful in the Sith Raid, so that's a bonus depending on what tier your guild is doing.

Well, I completed my first rancor solo with this team yesterday. It's not the team I suggested in the OP because I still don't have Acolyte or Zombie at 7*, but I'm glad to report it's definitely doable.This was the squad:Asajj (L) - zeta'd lead (zeta'd special too, but likely doesn't add much), G11, 175 speedTalzin - no zetas, G10, 197 speedDaka - no zetas, G10, 201 speedTalia - no zetas, G8, 171 speedSpirit - no zetas, G8, 179 speedAs you can see, they're a strong squad, but nothing unattainable for most players. I don't think it would've worked on auto simply because of how often I had to use Talia's Water of Life special to feed TM so I could get another round of TM removal when the rancor got over 50%.The guard phase is very easy with this group, and the only one where Asajj's Rampage zeta is actually useful. Still far from being necessary as it's an easy clear even without it.The Rancor managed one attack in phase 2 and 3, and 2 attacks in phase 4. I'll try again once I get my Acolyte farmed up (currently 5*) to see if it makes a difference. I suspect it will.

It has been done, the video was on here a week or two ago. You'd need some pile of speed on them I would imagine. Nice thing is zombie comes back after being gobbled up.

Yeah, I've only got a 4* zombie, so even though she's farmable now through a hard node, I'm a little ways off from trying it out myself (I have a 5* Spirit, but at least she's a relatively quick farm out of the cantina). When I do get around to trying it, I may have to use KRU or someone instead of zombie for the tenacity down).I did look through the threads a bit before starting another one, but I guess I didn't look far enough.Thanks!

It's possible, Asajj lead Tal Daka acolyte and zombie can do it, even auto with semi decent ish rng

That's good to know. Have you tried it with Spirit at all? I'm about to finish my current farm from the cantina and will probably move to Spirit next. I'm a long way from Zombie still. Mine is only 4* and it's a pretty long farm with only a single hard node.

I have not tried with spirit yet, I’m 91/100 currently on spirit, It might work, but I suspect that zombie is likely the largest reason for success, simply due to being able to “revive” after being devoured, That being said tho, I don’t remember exactly how that run went. I’ll try it again in a day or so and see how it goes.

Hmm...I was afraid of that. I only actually thought of using Zombie because of the Tenacity Down mechanic, though the revive is obviously a huge bonus. I didn't expect the revive to be the key though.

I am running my sisters for some time now on Auto to solo the hRancor.

Ventress(zL), Daka, Talzin, Acolythe and Zombie

Just push the Auto button and leave the Girls do their Job while I take a shower or preparing my dinner.
Takes aprox. 10 min

I haven't tried the Spirit yet as I only got her to 6* yet but since she has TM removal on her Basic she should work fine. Would swap with talzin or daka.
The Zombie is absolutly helpfull as she revives even when eaten by rancor ;-)

Well, I'm another step closer to putting this team together, and it's looking very promising. My guild isn't doing heroic yet, and I just got my NS Spirit to 6* so that I could try it out with her. I replaced Initiate with Spirit (to go with zAsajj, Talzin (6*), Daka, and Talia) and tripled my usual damage against the Rancor in my first attempt. It would've been a lot higher but Asajj got devoured the first time the Rancor took a turn.

I only had the Spirit at level 76 and she only had 3 mods on her. All of my NS with the exception of Asajj are gear 8 and speeds are nothing to write home about (between 165 and 185 across the board).

I'm still working towards getting my zombie to 7* because the tenacity down and nigh-invulnerability, but I don't know if she'll have a bigger impact than the Spirit just did.

My 2nd attempt with the exact same team did double what the first one did. Both times, I ended up putting it on auto with basics only. I still think the TD from zombie will make the solo pretty much a guarantee because the only thing that got me in the end was the rancor resisting TM and eventually getting to enrage. Even then, if I wasn't autoing, I would've used Talzin's Spirit Blade Assault special throughout which would've given me 5x attempts at removing TM every 4 turns which probably would've eliminated that issue.

You really should consider full auto, auto basic is not really worth the hassle, on full you should fare much better ,

And yes zombie would help a lot more imo as well, But asajj lead tal Talia zombie, daka, full auto p3 to end, p1start and manual play for the delay until able to post, then hit auto and watched the fun.

Yeah, I set it to basic only just because I didn't want Daka or Talia to use their heal specials, nor did I want Spirit to miss out on the extra TM from her basic. I doubt Daka and Talia would've even used them simply because nobody was taking damage, but it was late and I wasn't thinking clearly. Obviously I missed I on the extra damage from Talia and Talzin's specials as well.

Thanks for the reply. I think my team would've had no trouble at all soloing if they weren't all G8 (Asajj G10) with a 6* Spirit too.
