Nihilus CD reduction Isn't OP
The first thing everybody thought of, myself included, was 8 turn CD on a OHKO but the cooldown can be reduced by increasing opponents' CDs. Here is the thing: you likely will not be able to increase CDs beyond the max cooldown of that move ( if it is a 3 turn CD, it can't be increased to 4) and it likely won't set the cooldown to 1 on moves that have not been used yet.
What I think this means is that an opponent would have to go twice before their cooldowns could be increased by force drain. An example is a toon uses a move with a 3 turn cooldown, the next time that toon gets a full turn, that special would show the #3 and would not be able to be increased until AFTER that second turn because 3 is the max CD.
In order to use this move effectively, Nihilus will have to be patient, and rely on his basic (which omega'd will also reduce annihilate's CD) until multiple enemies have used their specials.
If this^ is in fact how the move works, annihilate will take at LEAST 3 full turns for Nihilus to use, unless he is called to assist or gets retribution and counters with omega basic.
He will be really good, but I don't think he will be able to do the one-two punch OHKO yhat everyone is worried about. I would be really worried to see Nihilus paired with GK and gain retribution, though.
I am hoping that this is how the mechanic works, because if he can set specials that are off cooldown to 1, or set 3 turn CDs to 4, it will just become who has the fastest mods.
