Wasn't Carrie around for 2018? Went back and confirmed my memory: the only new event (non-marquee) that I could track down between March of 2018(HSTR) and August 2018 (Contraband Cargo + Galactic bounties 2) was Galactic Bounties 1. That is a 5 month gap, much like the currently planned 5 month gap between DS Geo and LS Geo. This isn't an abnormally long stretch between new playable events, it just seems longer because many want to pretend that Geo TB is not new content (and therefore requires little dev effort)
