Are people seriously comparing Vader's aoe to wedge and lando's? Lando's devastating aoe is his only niche and it takes time to build up. Wedge's capabilities are borderline broken but they're his niche as well: start off strong but get weaker as the match goes on. Vader has loads of health and lots of utility so it makes no sense that they would give him an aoe that drops an 18k bomb. He can easily sit in the top 10 on your shard with the right team and no chatacter like that is broken and deserves a buff.
