So like, now, with max gear/7star/lvl 85 - you could choose to make her Master Lumi (more fighting, new combat ability) or Forcehealer Lumi (better healing, new defense ability).
That's cool, but what happens when they release the next raid and say, to use your example, Force Healer Lumi is an integral part to a powerful 'A' squad and now everyone who went Master Lumi has no hope of contending for top damage and all those shards?
It's a neat idea and generally I'm all for personalization, but it would be the first instance of truly irrevocable choices that can potentially hinder progress. People tend not to like that in games where they actively spend a lot of money.
