Problem With Energy Refresh

Question

I have tried on two occasions to refresh my hard energy battles and in both instances, I had to spend 100 crystals instead of the usual 50. It has gotten to the point that I will no longer refresh my hard energy battles and this is a pain since I want to contribute as many guild coins as I can to my guild.

You can refresh it twice a day for 50 crystals then the price goes up

I know that, but in both instances it was on my first refresh and I had to pay 100. The first time I didn't get anymore energy.
