It appears from the new Territory Battles that even low to moderate level guilds will be getting a couple thousand tokens in the new shop which offers 12 cuffs or guns for less than 600 tokens. Once people get a bit of gear 12 for their arena team, they will basically be getting 1- 1.5 full cuffs a week worth of currency. More like 2+ after their guild progresses slightly. This is going to slowly ease the gear crunch.
That's assuming that TB is run weekly, which it probably won't be. And even then, it's unlikely that will be what the rewards are spent on. It's like saying their is no gear crunch because you can get it through the fleet shop. Sure, but then you've got no zetas or rare ships. If you get cuffs from this new shop then you probably are just shifting the gear crunch from G8-11 to G12.
