Yes it would. You figure that a new player that comes online and reads any of the guides for new players, they typically instruct to not purchase Chromium Packs and instead buy Crystals. EA is likely missing out on purchases related to character shards via Chromium Packs except from the top 1% to maybe it's only 2% of players that have the ability to spend at that level to max out every character. Opening up all Chromium Exclusive to Aurodium Packs or perhaps a Premium Shard Shop is another revenue channel for EA and opens up the game even more for the player.
