The counter to Jedi teams are Sidious/Dooku teams. Dooku still goes before all of my Jedi of same gear and Level on QGJ led teams. Sidious is ridiculous to attempt to kill too because anti-jedi ability. I just recently acquired Darth Maul so I'm going to test him out, but it looks like if he's leading a team of Sith against Jedi, he'll probably win. QGJ is also super squishy and does comparatively lower damage. I think he's good where he is right now. I mean, the only reason he's being used atm is because of the changes to speed.
The Dooku/Sid combo probably works well against this team on offense because the AI is stupid. It is surprisingly ineffective the other way around if you play well. By that I mean that I was genuinely surprised.
Yoda always goes before Dooku, and if you toss Battle Meditation on immediately it shuts down his stun. It basically also shuts down Sid: his AoE does a bit of damage but no DOTs, and his heal immunity, which already was highly resisted because of his low potency, never lands.
Dooku can be taken out fairly easily by Jinn's and Lumi's specials. Taking out Sid is also not hard: you just avoid attacking him with non-Jedi. He will usually start down 25% health or more from counters by your Dooku after he AoEs, and then often one GS special will finish him.
I haven't fought Darth Maul in a while, but I'd imagine he could be effective on a team with other dangerous threats simply by virtue of forcing you to focus on him first so other guys have more time to cause problems.

If you think "skill" plays a significant part in this game, then clearly you need to branch out a little.
It does require some skill... not just in team assembly but also in playing it effectively. This increases for complex teams with complicated characters like Yoda.
