Raid reward comparison based on data

I've done research of old raids data based on example I've founded.

There is some rules of this research:

  • CPit not included. Example to show what was lost for guilds who finished only HSTR.
  • Examples is from period when gear wasn't accelerated, so it will be x2 in tables.
  • HSTR rewards will be based as max - top 1 and min - (top 1 * 0.7) as estimated sim results.
  • Shards counted as shard currency and will be converted by the cost of MK12 left gear (4 part = 360 shard currency).
  • GET1 will be converted as MK12 left gear but we all understand that it's cost higher with unique GET Characters.
  • No raid frequency. We have ticket costs, it will mean that if Pit - 55k tickets than for new price 90k we will get result with formula (Pit/55)*90. Same for Tank and Siths.
  • If you not agree with rewards that was taken as example - give me yours and we check it again.

Goal of research:

  • Show what % of rewards is lost for guilds that finished only HSTR
  • Based of CG RA announcements I assume that accurate goal of new system OLD Pit + Tank + Sith = New Sith. 5-10% discrepancy is acceptable

Here is examples of raid rewards(taken as max reward):

Here is spreadsheet:

And just results:

Conclusions:

  • As we see even lowest rewards in old raids is 14% more then they are now.
  • And it's only 60% from max possible reward.
  • With Krayt discrepancies should be lower but it's still there. And what is most importan CPit isn't included.

My opinion that 2M credits and 400 GET1 is needed to balance rewards. It's equal 1250 MK1 and 425 MK2 but at least credits should be added to crate.

Yet again...not really. Personally I'm not assuming those gear is useless because I'm past it, if that was the case all mk1 gear is useless to me. If you were to try mathematically streamlining usefulness of gear averages you get from old raids, you would need to look at total times they are used. Your example as mk3 bacta gels can be considered pretty much needed in this sense, it is used 70 times. Not the case for all those gear types.

Another gear i never cared about:

    • https://swgoh.wiki/wiki/Mk_4_Sienar_Holo_Projector_Salvage - Shard Shop/Crystals/ 22 MK1 cost - 148 times needed
    • https://swgoh.wiki/wiki/Mk_6_Merr-Sonn_Thermal_Detonator_Salvage - Shard Shop/Crystals/GT/ 16 MK1 cost - 226 times needed
    • https://swgoh.wiki/wiki/Mk_10_BlasTech_Weapon_Mod_Component - Crystas/ 10 energy Nodes/ GT/ 36 MK1 cost - 41 times needed

Most of gear has it's own usage and could be applied somewhere. And I stay on my poit - every gear has it's value and could not be ignored. And Carbs MK1 Price is avg price for most of gear from Raid Shop.

Your point is moot. You are once again listing down lesser core gear. In all practicality main core gear like carbanti/cuffs/guns are the main things any player needs as a priority. And most of the gear doesn't simply compare. Say if %70 of the all the gear types have some priority, you simply ignore that you'll keep getting the %30 in the old raid system in your carbanti conversions.

Carbanti/cuffs/guns have passive income in challenges. Most of other lesser core gear - don’t. When you need it you will be forced to buy it with MK1 and most of this lesser core gear has same price as carbs 220 per 10 gear.
I understand your point but don’t agree with it because didn’t see why 30% old raid should be ignored and what gear exactly is in this 30%. Gear economy changed and time needed for gear stock to be changed for it.
But once again all I posting here is just for asking 2M credits (1250 MK1 equivalent) to current drop.
  • As fun as math is, i refuse to do that outside of working hours.

I do however have a practical question:

The old fashioned guild tokens I mainly used for jawa food. Curcuit, bronze and chromium stuff, 100-150 value pieces. Now with the lower guild token count. Is there another place to pick that scrap up? Or is it just as simple as ignoring the rest of the guild token store and chaneling the whole stash to the jawa burner?

Player choice is nice in gear. Also, full gear pieces were rare, but what wasn't rare was GET1, GET2, and Guild Tokens.

It is clear we have to build Jabba teams to max KDR rewards, but characters like Gam Guard, Jawa Scavenger, Tusken Shaman, HODA/Wampa (JKL) are gated behind that currency.

How can we farm the right teams to perform well with a drought for the necessary currency to buy said teams?
