Per the latest CG communication, seeing that Relic 10 is coming, the follow-up question should now be: Why not release Relic 10 for a couple months BEFORE rolling out Relic Delta and monitor how R10 functions? This will delay (and potentially lessen) a player exodus while allowing further progression. Just having Relic 10 available will give players more incentive to go to Relic 9 on more characters to get to this new R10. The reasons against Relic Delta from the community are numerous as are the number of players that will retire if this is rolled out has not changed.
I ignored R8 as well as R9 when they were added, how is adding R10 going to make me want to go get that? Most of my toons are maxed at R5, and I consider them done.
The purpose of delta is to make people not consider themselves done with a toon until it is max relic. Just adding R10 isn't going to do that. It will just be another level to ignore.
Not saying I won't ignore the higher relic levels still with the delta implementation, but I understand its purpose.
