Shard Currency Changes(What happens to excess shards not yet converted?(no credits for 7* promotion)

I have several characters where I have more than 330 shards but I don't have enough currency to promote them to 7* so I can convert those shards in the shard shop. For example I have 395 shards of ...

Yes, those shard will be worth much less if you don't get them into the shard shop before the changes occur. The conversion rate will be the same, but the cost of everything in the shop will double.
