The skill squish wouldn't be a problem if CG updated the division/league tresholds. But since the divisions and leagues keep shrinking, the old values for tresholds are super outdated now. Back then Kyber 1 used to be like 10-15k people. Now it's about 2.5k. So by having a 50/50 record you automatically drop over time and there is nothing you can do about it. They really need to update the tresholds, otherwise the skill squish is just not justifyable anymore because it just keeps giving everyone (with very few exceptions) less and less rewards as time goes by.
