  • Also, when this TB was new they mentioned new planets would open to reveal alternate paths. That was a lie. We have to do the same planets, and each one that opens. It’s not a different path, it’s just more to do. We are approaching 40 stars and man it surely takes longer ti finish each round

      Yeah, to say nothing on how the extra zones, particularly Mandalor (we haven't unlocked it yet, but we're getting there), offer miniscule rewards for additional effort. I mean, ok, Mandalor has two missions that require R8 teams, fine, it's technically an R8 zone, so nothing wrong with that. And, aside from DTMG, there are no restriction as to who we can use, so there's a good chance we can get some overlap and upgradea few toons from other farms. But, there's also a mission that requires Mandalorians at R9. And the only rewards from that planet are 1 additional star towards the end-of-event crate, and 50 pieces of each Kyro. 1) that's not nearly enough to justify spending what even at this stage are hard to get materials and a ton of signal data to get 5 Mandos to R9, while also working on our own farms; and 2) anyone who has 5 Mandos at R9 likely isn't in dire need of just a few extra Kyros. In other words, more and more effort for only a miniscule amount of extra rewards.

    I guess the problem isn't the amout of events and yes the long it takes to make actions.
    Smugler's runs II takes a lot of time to win it. ROTE battles takes so much time and no one of my guild wants to play it because it's boring.
    The game is getting boring and not funny.

    Agreed. I can maybe see an argument for not having the battles for these GL events (including GLLO's Endor event as well) be simmable while the GL is 'featured'. Fine, that's fair.

    Jabba, however, hasn't been 'featured' in over a year, since GLLO dropped. SR2 should have been simmable then; and with GLAhsoka coming soon, the same argument should probably be getting made to sim GLLO's Endor event as well.

  • In some of these events, I've been getting three stars for more than five years already.
    I haven't proven myself yet? Come on CG....enough already.

      Good to have a list - it highlights how many events there are eating into our time. The only one there that arguably could be left without sim is SR2 but the rest should have been simmable long ago. They are tedious at best and detract from the player experience. And of course there is always the option to not sim if that floats some peoples’ boats.

      i appreciate the “time in game is proportional to spend” argument, however none of these create an incentive to do so. Save the actual game time for interesting, highly rewarding and newer content CG!

    Agreed, the growing number of events are becoming such a time sink.  Events like these that are the exact same thing every time should be simmable just like Assault Battles, daily challenges, Proving Grounds, etc.

      Exactly. TB is relatively easy, it has about a dozen battles each day, but those you only do once each, whether you win or lose a battle, it's done, and at least some of them you can safely put on auto.

      Meanwhile, with GAC you have about/over 15 battles a day, which could only become even more if the enemy has ridiculous DCs on (it's gotten to the point where sometimes I do one battle in the morning and I already feel exhausted, especially if I lose because of DCs).

      With Raids, especially the Naboo raid, there are so many issues in terms of difficulty and RNG, you likely have to repeat even just one battle multiple times, making it even more of a time sink (yesterday, I had to do the Maul (R7) battle over a dozen times, this morning I had to do the same number of attempts for KB (R5), in both cases because the enemy is somehow almost enraged while I'm barely halfway to the max score). Honestly, right now the Naboo raid alone is enough to make me want to shoot myself.

      Then, you have Conquest, and depending on how many refreshes you use, let's say 3 a day, that's over 20 battles alone. And with how ridiculously OP some of the teams and modifiers are even in the early sectors, it can grow into an even bigger headache.

      Those 3-4 events take up so much time, you probably don't even want to bother with the minor ones (ABs, Dathomir, EE, etc.). I don't even bother with Fleet Mastery events or even Omega battles (which at least are simmable, so that's really saying something). That's without taking into account real life.

  • Wow yes. Lots to unpack there. After almost nine years. Most of these should be automatic now, so much time

  • I agree. It's already old enough. And there are way too many other events that take up our time. Look at what we have to look forward to this week:

    1. Territory Battle (the whole week);
    2. Conquest (two weeks, but the main grind for a lot of people is during the first week);
    3. Fleet Arena (every day at a specific hour; I'd rather not go on a rant about this particular headache);
    4. 2 Galactic Challenges (how much of a pain they are depends on the feats and enemy team, and considering some of the GCs throughout the previous months, I'm not exactly excited);
    5. Raids (my guild will be able to launch it tomorrow, whoopie);
    6. GAC attack round (tomorrow, and thankfully the final round of this season);
    7. Profundity (tomorrow; should also be simmable along with the other fleet events if you already have the ship at 7*, at this point I'm not even bothering with them);
    8. Other (non-simmable) recurring events that pop up whenever they feel like it;
    9. The likely marquee event for Marrok;
    10. GL events for anyone who's working on them (thankfully, I have all GLs unlocked with Ultimates, at least until Ahsoka shows up).

      "Hell in its purest form"?

      You know games are supposed to be fun, right? You know that you are not required by law to play, right? I'm down with your critique, but this last bit makes me think you need to stop and have a think.
