All I hear is moaning, groaning and gnashing of the teeth about how speed secondaries are unfair, we need speed secondaries challenges, remove speed secondaries...blah blah blah....What about Stun mods? Retribution mods? These things will render speed null and void as in whats point of going first if your gonna get countered and stunned? Ok so your tfp/boba get ability block off...but now there stunned...your vader/ep/nihlus/maul aoe only to be countered by everyone and get stunned? This would shift everything back around full circle. And remember the screenshots from last summer of these mods? They announced them, but didnt release them. So its coming, they knew the speed issue would buy them some time and make $ while they bidded there time.Somebody somewhere has that pic of the retribution mods and stun mods from the modgate debacle that summer...upload it to this thread please...pretty please with sugar on top! <3 <3 <3

I guess you would make them arrow mods to make players have a hard choice? Otherwise people could still get 20+ speed secondaries on them.

This is a great idea. Make it where you need a set of four stun mods for it to work, and none of them have speed secondaries.

Evasion Mods pls, doesn't matter if you go first, you still can't hit me ;) (Also my "Speed Secondary Mod Challenge" comment in that other thread was a joke.... Didn't think anyone was gonna take that seriously at all...)

Or better yet make it where the stun set bonus is 6 mods without speed secondaries.

I think i would be perfectly balanced to require 3 mods for both stun and retribution since they go hand in hand...and are the ultimate counter to speed. This will also allow for a few more new mod effects that only require 1 mod as well...LikeResistance mod Special Dmg modDodge modTactics modAgility modStrength modYou get the idea... this will further supplement toons fortifcations against speed being the penultimate stat... Jk, but the problem with stun set mods is that the only thing that truly counters stuns is more stuns. I think retribution mods would be slightly different because theres Daze and tanks to soak damage and stuns and stealth to counter retribution, but the only thing that counters stun is going before your enemy and stunning them first. Stuns DO NOT counter speed, stun mods would add to the importance of speed secondaries because you could go first and stun your opponents before they could stun you.

Retribution on the other hand can be countered in more than 1 way, and speed isn't actually one of those counters.

But the combination of stun and retribution not only adds more RNG to the mix, it makes tenacity relevant, (maybe even a mechanic rework like heal immunity) and lessens the penultimate importance of speed.

I think one of the devs said these weren't going to happen. I'd be very surprised if these ever got released

I'd love to see Stun and Retribution mods. I think it will balance out high-speed nicely.
