So the trick for the devs is to balance holding the info until late enough that there is a little pressure to spend, but not too late to make significant numbers of customers angry. I thought the Phoenix/Thrawn thing was about right. But slightly earlier would be nice, and it wouldn't hurt you any.
I agree with you. I think the Thrawn event was nice and personally I thought one week was perfect (technically it was 2 weeks counting the event). It was actually the most fun I had playing this game in a while. I felt like I had something to do in game. Would it have been nice if it was two week? Yeah, I would have had him 7* on the first day instead of day 4 of the event. That isn't a big deal, imo.
