We're talking about the same one, but some days I've gotten 0 shards doing both nodes three times. so it balances it out.

I've been farming them both since ships came out. Including the shards I already had from daily monthly log-ins and randomness here and there - I have TFP at 6* now, FOTP at 5*. I'll say TFP is a slightly faster farm than FOTP but not by much.

Nasty grind? - Try Lobot. I got him as a freebie through a bronzium a long time ago. Dude is at 6* now, gear 8. I can't stop till I get him maxed out. I refuse to give up on him.

If you spend 200 crystals daily on Cantina energy refresh, you should pull 10 TFP shards/day on average. If you spend 200 crystals daily on hard node refreshes, you should pull 6 FOTP shards/day on average (I think that's right, I never refresh hard nodes). That makes 33 days to collect 330 TFP shards, vs 55 days to collect 330 FOTP shards. But spending crystals on hard node refresh does not earn you Cantina Credits for even more character shards from shipments. I think you're generally better off spending those 200 crystals on Cantina energy. So if you don't refresh hard nodes, that's 2 shards per day, total 165 days.

TFP farming is much faster for most players.

FOTP is way better than Lobot. Lobot is redundant and weak. You don't need him. But it's good to have that hard node project going on to fulfill your dailies. I'm working on HRSolider right now for the same reason. He does not really have a place, but I need to do my dailies.

Basically why I farm hard nodes, to get a couple of shards slowly. Got HRSoldier to 5* that way befoe EP event came out the first time and he was the only one that was left when I killed EP and got him back in August lol. Wouldn't have made it w/o him. Still at 5* though lol, been getting closer to 6* though it's just I honestly average like 1 shard every other day. Probably gonna switch to Ewok Scout because I've gotten so many drops from Bronziums with him that he's actually closer to 6* than HRSoldier is lol.

Ha... you'll see, it usually takes 6 or 7 months. Getting to 5* is easy.

Got FOTP to 7* the day before he was nerfed back in March or April. He could use a buff now.

LOL - yeah Lobot isn't any good other than having his debuff. He's one of those dudes though, gotta farm him all the way, it's like a mission.

I 7*d RG before I got access to the Cantina node. I join you in calling male cow excrement. Also, I hope Aizfgas does quit if he's so opposed to other people getting access to his toys. How many people quit over Vader appearing in fleet shipments? My bet is 0.

no data to back up but i found tfp much quicker than wedge, he seemed to take a lifetime. even with fleet shipments.

wish i hadnt bothered (wedge) hi gear is a pain. TFP is awesome tho, moved him onto my arena team. not even started on fotp. was going to do him after jka.

FOTP and FOST are so hard to farm, which is crazy cuz FOTP is at best decent now compared to other attackers, and FOST ain't even good ...where is his Taunt?!?
