In A1 I’ll most likely take 0/3, while in A2 I have a good chance of getting 2/3. I’ve bounced up to A1 a few times and every time get crushed hard: I have currently 5.4M GP and only one GL (SEE), although I do also have Malgus/SK, and usually vastly more omicrons/datacrons than my opps. But the GP/GL differential is just too much in A1 and my fleets are a weak spot in my roster currently. The win / higher end-of-bracket placement awards in A2 vastly outweighs what I’ll get in A1 with my current roster, in the short term.
This isn’t a long term strategy, but I have no other way of earning r8 mats other than buying them with crystals, the tiny trickle I get from box 5 conquest, and the off chance our guild will get lucky and benefit from the CPit bug.
I’m currently working on r8 reqs for Executor. After that I’ll gladly move up.
If I’m wrong, please explain why, I’m always open to learning more and improving my gameplay!
