The Bounty or Contracts Table

Hutt Contracts were implemented in Battlefront. What if SWGOH had something similar? Hutt Contracts, Bounties, etc?

Just like ships where a completely new section of the game was opened up and available at a certain level whereas you can go to the tables and pit your teams against enemies to fulfill certain tasks and enter almost a black market. It could be a seedy part of the cantina, dark and hazy / smoky...

I Was thinking it would need to be unlocked at a fairly higher level like 50+, and it could be set up similar to the regular LS, DS and Cantina tables but the end result of a stage would be some type of reward. Now, in Battlefront they are usually weapons of some type, I don't really remember all of them, I haven't played that in a while. I don't suggest any type of weapon modifications, or different weapons that could be equipped but rather credits, ship blueprints, high level gear, full characters (like the chromium or aurodium packs) - not shards.

Vader, Boba, Jabba can all be in there at different tables - each one representing a different difficulty and reward base. They would require you to use different techniques or squads to use to obtain your rewards.

Since you would be in a black market and if you don't like your reward, you could sell or trade it back for a higher paying bounty or reward. Higher paying rewards such as rare or new characters, enough credits and training droids to jump up a character you already have, etc. Or Vader could choke you out lol.

I'm thinking level 1A through 1J (or whatever) would be almost like an expanded, more difficult Credit Heist. Level 2 would be for regular gear, 3 for good gear, you get the idea. I'm also thinking it would be similar to the Mod Challenges so to speak, at least 5 waves of enemies per battle times 8 to 10 battles per stage.

Certain stages would be limited to only be allowed to use certain characters (think Mod Challenges again) but more involved. You may need to use 2 scoundrels, 1 healer, a tank and a sith. It would make people think outside the box a little and force them to shuffle up their team strategies to get the rewards.

I think it would be cool, similar to other things but different enough to mix everything up.

Anyway - Just kind of bored at work.

    I really like the idea of the time limits, makes folks hustle, sometimes you can get it done, then again you might fail. Would really depend on what roster you go in with.

    The "story" mode is what I love. Say you're escorting Boba to Jabba's palace to deliver Han. First, you would need to fight your way off Bespin in so many waves of battles, then take to the galaxy where ship battles would be implemented. Then battling down on Tatooine, finally delivering the cargo to Jabba. Jabba rewards you handsomely. All the while Boba and his ship are your forced ally.

    On top of the rewards are your reputation points, use the rep to access the next bounty. If you fail, you lose rep, if you keep winning, you can cash in rep points for better rewards.

    I have other ideas about different tables too, but I'll hold on to those for now.
  • +10000 Please CG make this happen, it would make the game super fun.
  • There should also be, as a ultimate, sort of how did you actually complete this in any way shape or form in less than 50 tries, reward that is a raid-level character, sorta like GK, but a bounty hunter (Jango maybe??) as that would be more suitable for the idea for a blackmarket dealo.

  • With more and more character EA will need to add new modes. Hopefully they come up with(or copy player ideas) good ones!
  • There are some awesome ideas in this thread. I hope they implement something that may be inspired by the thoughts expressed here.

    Okay heres the kicker!
    You have 3 chances daily, pending reputation/ap available (PERIOD) which node you clear is your choice, 3 different ones or same one. No refresh beyond 3. No retries. You lose, that is still one of your 3 tries gone. So access is limited by what you have in your roster, and NOBODY can do any node more than 3 times a day and those get harder for each daily repeat!

    Now keep in mind this board is gonna be insanely difficult...even more so if you try to repeat a node. This board is designed with level caped players that have several teams g10+ in mind. (But a toned down, less rewarding beginer board should be available if reputation accumlation is guild orientated)

    This also perfect way to make use of your allys as 6th squad member or as a forced ally in repeats.
    (Heck some repeats of same node might include addition prerequisites like "must use CUP" or "ugnaught must survive"...you get idea)

    Now again these rewards are pure, just the aforementioned categories...and you must clear one each node (once) to gain access to next one. (Or not) This can be incorporated into the guilds by making reputation something accumulated by the guild to unlock the reward nodes, or boards and then individual players use ally points to do the individual nodes.

    *shoot, the nodes unlocked by guild via reputation can be reset weekly, monthly etc, or different periods of time pending guild size*

    Each board (maybe intro a intro board with just say 3 nodes so players under lv 85 can get a feel for the end game big boy board that you unlock at lv 85) is same as previous but gives a increased amount of payout/access to types of node rewards.

    You could even introduce limited time event boards as well...where you can unlock unique characters! This will give f2p/p2p both a chance at new things. And these limited time event boards would feature refreshs, but limited amounts of them, giving p2p an edge. But slightly.

  • This would be a fun way to release Embo, too. And not just to get him 4* but to work up to a full 7* toon - but over time, Raid-like.
  • This sounds amazing! I think this is a VERY good idea and I would love to see something like this added to game at some point. It could give us some sort of missions/contracts/bounties where we choose the one we want to try to complete and different missions give different rewards. This would give players some freedom to choose their rewards prior to the battle and that way we wouldnt need to play boring missions which rewards we dont even need. And of course harder missions would give better rewards.

    I really want to see something like this to be added.
