- First Order Flametrooper: Were present on Jakku at the start of the movie
- First Order Riot Control Stormtrooper: Stormtroopers armed with shields and electrified batons.
- Sidon Ithano: A Smuggler and Pirate, also goes by the "Crimson Corsair"
- Bazine Netal: A Mercenary who informed the First Order of BB-8's location; she was intelligent and calculating, and would use ink made from Rishi Eel Blood to conceal her fingerprints
- Snoke: The Supreme Leader of the First Order and master of Kylo Ren; was later revealed to be a strand cast created by Palpatine's Sith Eternal Cult
