The Gear Grind

I know it's a dead horse, but I want the devs to keep hearing it.

The game is moving forward with zeta abilities. New characters. Gear level 12. But we as players haven't been given additional resources to keep up with the scale of growth in the game. We still have the same horrific drop rate for gear. The same gear in challenges, where you get one useful piece to go along with thousands of useless pieces. We have the same amount of finite energy to spend on battles each day.

Now with gear level 12, our already thing resources are thinned out even further in order to keep up with the game. We need to farm these random, obscure toons like Lobot to fill TB platoons, but also, here's 5 new kinds of gear that all require 50 salvage pieces to farm. There's no way to keep up and it's exhausting. Officers in our guild are burnt out and angry at getting such small payback from the game for putting in work to keep up with the games growth. Please give us a way to get gear easier or quicker. Quality of life hasn't scaled with the growth of the game. Thank you.

 moving a thread does not solve any problems

It does for them if no one sees it anymore. Man they are more in tune with Star Wars than I thought.

  • I would even be okay with being able to swap full sets of gear between toons with same gear requirements, similar to being able to take off, and swap mods, only keep all the pieces together, as a single piece. Just give us some gear templates per toon types, and once you filled all the gear spots for a level (let's say X), you have a fully crafted piece of gear X. All pieces together, form a single piece of full gear, which you can swap over to another toon, depending on what you're doing... It's a rather ridiculous idea, but I would surely take it over having to gear out every single duplicate piece for every single character... Oh well, back to the grind!!
