I went back and watched that scene. He does say that he has created a new beskar dark trooper suit. And the best thing about it is that it has “me inside it”. But I think he’s only talking about the suit he’s wearing. The white troopers obviously aren’t wearing beskar, as they keep getting shot through their armor.
The white troopers do have beskar in their armour, that's why the mando's started focusing on the gaps.
