In this game the META shifts endlessly. You can't just build your 5 favourite toons and then expect to manage all aspects of the game with those 5 only. If you want to stay competitive, you will have to constantly farm and gear new characters.

... or they know how healing can remove plague
... or they know which enemy NS to stun/fracture/block
... or they know the optimal kill order when foghting NS
... or they accept the fact, that they don't currently have the roster to beat every possible team, and enjoy their game anyway.
