The Seven Minute Solution

This has probably been raised before but the newest characters and fleets make it more urgent: should CG increase the battle time from five minutes? Or at least have an option to cut down on animations? Between:

-time-consuming character animations (looking at you Kneesaa)
-characters with seemingly endless health pools, health regeneration and revives (Reva, LV)
-lots of assists and extra attacks (Jabba team)

This situation is only made worse by the datacrons.

I am getting close to timing out more and more often. And actually timing out a few times a week. Galaxy of Slogs isn't very fun. But Galaxy of Timeouts is even worse.
  • I think the problem is animations - everything else is fair game imo (extra revives and big health pools, extra attacks) - so the timer pausing in between animations could be a solution if it is programmed right

    On the one hand, YES!

    On the other hand… that might just encourage them to continue to push the envelope with time consuming elements, meaning things like GAC and TW could become even more of a time sink…

    Yeah, I wondered about that. Time spent in game seems to be their only metric of success these days.
  • Lengthy or slow animations just seem like a lazy way to get around quality kit design.
