It's certainly not an easy tier, but I'm guessing devs want us to strategize a bit more than we were used to. I'm lvl 85 with all 5* mods on my best chars, so maybe I'm not the one to talk... but I thought I'd go AOE on this events given the amount in enemies in each wave:
EP, TFP, Boba and IG-88. Throw in my 4* ShT just for some diversion tactics and all goes well.
Just try to ability block the hell out those enemies and you'll do fine I think.
And for those saying that ShT and TFP are hard farms and not available to all, I think you can easily replace them with the likes of Poe, RG, Lando, Phasma or JKA. Less synergy, but the overall strat still should make it doable.
