Time Zone Reset

I recently used the "Time Settings" tool available from the gear menu to reset my payout times to reflect the ending of daylight savings time. I don't remember this happening to me before, but correct me if I'm wrong: it also reset all my daily activities and has made it impossible for me to collect "Daily Activity Rewards" as I cannot do "The Galactic March" twice in one day.

I appreciate the response, but I feel you've missed the point of the post.

Yeah, there's not much you can do I'm afraid.

The only way to avoid this is to complete all daily activities before changing the payout time.

Right but you can double dip on the daily activity for GW if you do one GW battle instead of auto sim the entire thing

Collect the dailies for it and then change PO and then sim the rest
  • You can actually double dip the whole day of rewards if you know you are going to do it.

Save some Gal war, have an arena and ship fight still available, only do 1 of each challenge etc.

Claim daily reward box. Change your payout. Do all activities again, and claim a second reward.

If you are pushing your payout backwards you can even get fleet crystals twice that day, depending on shard mates.

I did this a few times when I moved my payout for DST. I've settled on a spot the suits either way now, so haven't moved it this year.
  • When you reset your payout time, I believe it resets and freezes payouts for 24 hours.

But, my questions is why you had to? I’m in a DST area and my payouts are an hour earlier now, that’s all. It doesn’t effect anything but your payout time. It doesn’t change any arena climbs in your shard, everyone else is still at the same time.

I prefer my payout times to be at 8pm and 9pm CST. I change them each time the DST starts and ends because those times work best for me.

This change did not reset or freeze my payouts at all. At this moment in time, it is 7.30pm CST and i will get my arena payout in 30 minutes and my fleet payout in 90 minutes.

All that is affected is my ability to collect today's "Daily Activity Rewards" as I cannot do "The Galactic March" twice in one day.
  • This is the first time the daily objects reset as far as I can remember. I also changed my zone time today and had already completed all challanges and galactic war. Now I won't be able to get the final reward for completing all my daily objectives. Feels like a new bug to me.

It’s not a new bug. It’s been widely reported since the feature arrived.

It’s also debatable if it’s a bug at all. Just part of the payout change process.

Hmmmm....i just don't remember seeing this happen before. Do you consider it debatable? Or would you consider this WAI?
