maybe its the nostalgia or its the fear of change in general but so far I do not like this new forum. 
lack of dark mode is the first main thing,  then the topic areas look less like separate topics and more like a chat list, every topic looks like it would be a reply to a main thing, the 2 color gradients separate each topic was nice.   inside post themselves like here also have a small separation between chats helping to separate
 also topics only featuring the title and not the first sentences either which IMO helped make it look less like replies. (maybe the alternating colors or topics will help this)

Couple of questions:
Why have posts from random community members been migrated and yet the area for developer posts is completely empty. I am far more interested in dev posts being available. This is especially true if we will lose access to the old forums.

The "unread comments" doesnt seem to update after I have read all the comments in a thread. I've also tried refreshing

I would also like to see the "sort by" preference to follow what I selected for the thread. I change it to "oldests', but it goes back to "most liked" every time I open the thread again

I also keep getting signed out at random times

On mobile, the return key is not operating intuitively. This is from an iOS user.

Sometimes it will take you to the next line, with no spacing, other times it will start a new paragraph 3 lines below the previous line, sometimes it will trigger the default opening capital letter for the next sentence and sometimes it won’t. 

Also, when I used the hyphen key to create bullet points, the forum software recognised the first of the hyphens as a bullet point and formatted it as such, but didn’t do the same for the other hyphenated lines. 

Finally, I have no idea how the quoting functionality works. It was easy to use on the old forum. 

So far this forum is a little less user friendly. Part of it is just how forums work now (with nested replies and things getting out of order as a result), but like the notifications require you to actually leave the page and go to the notifications page rather than just a pop out with the most recent and not sure about anyone else but I have to login to the forums every 15-20 minutes for some reason.

How do I make the threads with most recent replies appear on top?

Is it possible to see all answers in order, with quotes, instead of all mixed?

I've been noticing now that more replies have been left to discussion threads that pages load pretty slowly. When I click "Show more" I get brought back up to the top of the page and have to scroll back down, which is not ideal when I'm going through 100+ replies and only 5-10 are loading at a time. To accommodate longer threads it would be nice to have a "Show all replies" option next to the "Show more", or paginate the replies. Also consider a button that displays only my replies and people who have replied directly to me. Having buttons to reduce scrolling would be nice too, like "Top" and "Bottom" that will take me directly to those locations on the page.
