I have to say the Ewok team is great fun to play with. I unlocked Chirpa yesterday and managed to complete all the Tier V challenges (ability mats, droids, bounty hunter) with a team of level 50 blue gear 2-3* ewoks plus Daka (6* lvl72) and Phasma ally.
As long as the ewoks survive the first few attacks (or get resurrected by Daka or EE) they basically control the entire match. Against a single boss it is just too easy - with Chirpa applying TM to every ewok with basic attacks and Teebo removing TM the opponent never gets an attack (quite literally).
I certainly wouldn't be able to complete the tier V challenges using any other lvl 50 characters! It will be interesting to see if there is a shift to ewok teams once the DS lvl 8 missions are open to everyone and they are easier to farm.
