Do I like SOLO movie? No. Do I love how great of a toon L3 is, how great her kit is and how she goes with so many teams? Yes.
L3 is super fun, i don't need to like her movie or her character to enjoy her in game- .

I'm not in particular a KO/TOR fan either. There were parts about the first KOTOR I really enjoyed, but there were also parts about the story I didn't like, and the game had been so over-hyped that I then had to deal with a kind of let down feeling that was probably exaggerated beyond what the game deserved. Nevertheless, I never got around to playing any of the others or reading any of the related EU tie-ins.
However, the Darth Revan, Hot Topic Bastila, Malak team has been one of my favorites to play with, so I'm with Ultra on that account.
I might give you a little bit of leeway on your second part, because in reading the kit I found it to be absolutely disgusting and couldn't believe this was a Conquest unit and not a Galactic Legend. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the first non-GL that gives Mastery bonuses. Who knows, maybe the community will find an easy counter. But if he performs like he reads on paper, that's pretty insane for a non-GL. If the feats allow me to get him quickly though, I'll gear him as fast as I can.
But even with me thinking the kit is overkill (and also that SE was already powerful enough and there are other factions that could use a Conquest unit), I can still be excited for the people who are excited that Malgus is here.
